Abstract : The purpose of the study was to investigate factors which contribute to organization conflict and management techniques. A sample of middle management employees in five government services agencies were involved in this study. Findings of this study showed a level of awareness among sample about the concept of organization conflict. Factors which cause conflict among their employees were: (1) Fringe benefit, (2) Promotion, (3) Responsibility ambiguity, and (4) Authority distribution. Also findings showed significant relationship between age, length of experience, education, fringe benefits and promotion, availability of resources, responsibility ambiguity and decision-making participation. Techniques used most by the sample to manage conflicts among their employees were found to be: (1) Compromising, and (2) Smoothing, Significant relationship was found between age, marital status, length of experience and compromising and smoothing.
